Fleet Manager 

KBR Transportation Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated Fleet Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating dispatch, maintaining regular communication with our drivers, and ensuring that weekly loads run smoothly to meet our operational goals. Working closely with the company owner, you will play a key role in managing our fleet, supporting drivers on the road, and maintaining an efficient, high-performance operation. Prior experience in fleet management or dispatch within the transportation industry is required. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to keeping our fleet running successfully. Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 (Based off of Experience)

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage the daily performance of our fleet
• Have Expert Level Booking skills
• Ensure all fleet activities comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
• Analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel efficiency and delivery timeliness.
• Address driver concerns, providing necessary support to ensure successful deliveries.
• Manage fleet-related budgets, control operational costs, and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Coordinate route planning and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement improvements in fleet operations and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing dispatch operations.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with fleet management technology and software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and operational costs effectively.
