JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule Planning:

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, equipment availability, and staffing levels.

  Coordination:

• Collaborate with production, Purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production.
• Communicate with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and delivery timelines.

  Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track production progress and identify any delays or issues.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance and schedule adherence. Such as KPI, Downtime, order tracking or others that might the production manager requires.

  Problem-Solving: 

• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or production bottlenecks.
• Implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain production flow.
